The TOPDON Phoenix Elite is designed for professional workshops needing full-system diagnostics, topology mapping, active tests, coding and ECU programming in a compact professional platform.

TOPDON lists 45 service functions for Phoenix Elite and supports online programming for selected manufacturers together with online coding for supported vehicles.

45 Service & Maintenance Functions

The Phoenix Elite provides 45 service functions for supported vehicles.

Online ECU Programming

Phoenix Elite supports online ECU programming for selected brands including major European manufacturers. Programming coverage depends on vehicle, ECU, software and region.

Online ECU Coding

The Phoenix Elite supports online coding for selected manufacturers and can perform supported coding, initialization, matching and personalization procedures.

Topology Mapping

Vehicle topology mapping displays related systems and CAN-network communication status in a color-coded visual layout, helping technicians identify communication issues quickly.

Bi-Directional Control

Active tests allow technicians to command supported components directly, helping distinguish component faults from wiring or control-module issues.

CAN FD Support

The Phoenix Elite wireless VCI supports CAN FD for compatibility with newer-generation vehicle networks.

Important: Phoenix Elite should not be described as having the same J2534/DoIP protocol package as Phoenix Smart, Max or Remote.

Guided Functions, FCA Gateway & ADAS Expansion

Supported features include VAG guided procedures, FCA Secure Gateway access and optional ADAS expansion when paired with compatible TOPDON ADAS equipment and required software.

Pre-Scan & Post-Scan Reporting

Pre-scan and post-scan reports allow workshops to document DTCs before and after repairs for customer, insurance and internal workshop records.

For this price, the Phoenix Elite outperforms most competitors. It even handled DPF regenerations on Isuzu and Ford models without issues.

Coverage is fantastic, including Asian and European brands. Software updates are regular. A bit heavy for single-hand use, but that’s expected with a rugged tablet.
