Wynn’s Motor Cleaner for Pre-Oil-Change Engine Cleaning
Old engine oil can leave behind sludge, varnish and contamination in oil galleries, the crankcase and lubricated components. Wynn’s Motor Cleaner is added to the existing oil shortly before servicing, allowing its detergents to circulate while the engine idles.
The treatment is intended to support a cleaner oil-change process rather than remain in the engine. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, the old oil and filter are replaced in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s procedure.
Key Benefits
- Helps loosen sludge and deposits in the engine lubrication circuit.
- Supports cleaner draining of used oil during routine servicing.
- May help free sticky oil-controlled components where contamination is the cause.
- Simple workshop or DIY procedure performed immediately before an oil change.
- Suitable for service packages where preventive internal cleaning is appropriate.
How to Use
- Warm the engine to normal operating temperature, switch it off and check the oil level.
- Add the treatment to the existing engine oil without exceeding the maximum oil level.
- Restart the engine and allow it to idle for the time stated on the bottle—typically about 20 minutes. Do not drive the vehicle.
- Switch off, drain the old oil while warm, replace the oil filter and refill with the correct fresh oil.
- Check for leaks and verify the final oil level according to the vehicle manufacturer’s procedure.
Ideal For
- Scheduled oil-change services
- Engines with deposit-prone service history
- Preventive lubrication-system cleaning
