Autel MaxiCharger DC V2X – 12kW Bi-Directional EV Charger
The Autel MaxiCharger DC V2X is designed around vehicle-to-everything technology, allowing a compatible
electric vehicle battery to function as more than a transportation energy source. In addition to charging the vehicle,
the system is designed to support controlled discharge of stored EV energy for home backup, peak-demand management
and supported grid-interactive applications.

12kW Bi-Directional Power Conversion
The MaxiCharger DC V2X supports up to 12kW bi-directional power. Depending on the selected configuration
and compatible vehicle, energy can flow from the electrical system to the EV for charging or from the EV battery back
toward a supported home or energy-management system.
Vehicle-to-Home Backup Power
With the required system components and compatible EV, V2X can support backup-power operation. Autel describes an
intelligent switching architecture that can isolate the home from the grid during a blackout and use energy stored in
the EV battery to supply supported loads.
Vehicle-to-Grid & Peak Energy Management
The platform is designed to support advanced energy-management use cases including scheduled discharge during
high-cost periods and, where local regulations, utility programs and vehicle compatibility permit, controlled export
of energy back toward the grid.
HEMS, Solar & Energy Storage Integration
- Compatible with Home Energy Management System integration.
- Designed to work as part of a smart micro-grid architecture.
- Can be integrated with supported solar and stationary energy-storage systems.
- Helps coordinate vehicle charging and discharge around site energy demand.
Connector & Charging Configuration
DC V2X configurations support CCS1 or CHAdeMO depending on the selected version. The original
specification supports 7kW / 12kW configurations, with the platform marketed around up to 12kW bi-directional operation.

Important Compatibility Notice
Bi-directional charging requires a compatible EV, appropriate connector / communication support, correct electrical
installation and any required transfer, energy-management or grid-interface equipment. V2H and V2G functionality can
also depend on vehicle manufacturer support, utility rules, local regulations and project configuration. Confirm the
intended application before ordering.
1 Year Warranty.
Note: Connector type and final system configuration vary by market and project requirement.
